Headstanders
Do you like to stand on your head?
Here are some unusual fish that do. All of these “headstanders” mimic their surroundings by hanging out upside-down. This way trumpetfish look like coral branches and pipefish pretend to be blades of grass. Cornetfish are quick-change artists and shrimpfish hide in a group—all with snouts down.
Look carefully. These fish are so good at pretending to be something else, you may have trouble finding them.
